Flight
from Zagreb to London for 4.99 Euros
Low-cost carrier Wizz Air announced
a new flight route, Zagreb - London, starting
March, 26, 2006. With this direct flight, Wizz
Air established itself as a first low-cost carrier
to tie Croatia and Great Britain.
Zagreb - London flights will occur
four times a week.
Tickets, per promotional rates
of 4.99 Euros (excluding taxes and fees), can
be purchased until January 31, 2007, according
to Croatian newspaper, Vjesnik.
After the promotional period,
ticket prices will increase to 14.99 Euros,
for one-way flight.
Josef Varadi, chief director of
Wizz Air, believes that more then 100,000 people
will fly this route in 2006.
Wizz Air is a leading low-cost
carrier in central and eastern Europe, and its
plane fleet consists of Airbus A320, which seats
180. Other cities where Wizz Air flies include
Katowice, Warsaw, Gdanska, Poznan in Poland,
Budapest in Hungary, Sofia in Bulgaria, and
Kaunas in Lithuania.
